🌟 Is Vientiane, Laos Worth Visiting?

When people plan a trip to Laos, they usually talk about Luang Prabang or Vang Vieng.

But what about the capital city?

Is it boring there?
I heard there’s nothing much to do.

So I decided to see it for myself.

And the truth is… Vientiane is very different from other Southeast Asian capitals.

It’s quieter.
Less chaotic.

But if you know where to look, you’ll find places like Wat Si Saket, the city’s oldest temple filled with thousands of Buddha statues,

or Buddha Park, a surreal sculpture park with lots of religious statues just outside the city.

So the real question isn’t:

“Is Vientiane worth visiting?”

It’s:

“Is this type of travel experience right for you?”

I wrote a full honest opinion:

• The pros and cons of visiting Vientiane
• What surprised me about the city
• Who should visit (and who should skip it)

Jeju Island Sea Coastline I used to think solo travel was the best for extroverted people. Turns out, introverts travel better when we stop forcing ourselves to travel like extroverts. Smokers, drinkers, party nights. Still… I wouldn’t trade this travel style for anything. I finally wrote everything down that I...
