🌟 Building slowly is still building

Some weeks, I publish nothing.

No blog post. No newsletter. No new video.

And for a long time, that silence felt like failure.

Like I was falling behind some invisible schedule I’d invented for myself.

But here’s what I’ve slowly come to understand:

Slow growth isn’t the absence of growth.

It’s just growth that doesn’t make noise.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to build a travel brand as an introvert — without burning out, without performing consistency for an algorithm, without turning something I love into something I dread.

And the honest answer is this:

The months I felt like I was doing the least were often the months I was learning the most.

Reading. Observing. Sitting with ideas long enough for them to become something real.

That’s not laziness. That’s how introverts work.

We don’t always need to be producing to be building.

I wrote some thoughts on this what slow content creation actually looks like from the inside.

Hi there 👋 I've been coming across quite a few travel tools, new features, and seasonal offers lately, so I thought I'd put the useful ones together in one place. Some are useful if you're planning a trip, while a couple may be especially interesting if you're a travel creator or blogger. Here are the ones that caught my attention: ✈️ 1. 11% off AirHelp+ for summer travel Flight delays, cancellations, missed connections, and lost luggage are never fun—especially when you're traveling alone....

There's a part of this journey I don't talk about much. Not because it's a secret — just because it's never felt like the point. The point has always been the walk, nature, the cafe, the journey of slow travel. But behind that, there's something holding it up. Today felt like a good day to talk about it. Almost every booking link you see across my blog and newsletter runs through Travelpayouts — the affiliate network I've used since the beginning. Hotels, cars, the odd tour and more. If this...

Neji couldn't help but stop whenever he came across a beautiful place. 🌿 Not lonely in the travel sense. I'm used to that kind of alone — the quiet table at a cafe, the solo dorm night, the long bus ride with headphones in. I mean lonely in the creator sense. Publishing something you made, something that cost you time & thought & a little piece of yourself and watching it land in silence. No shares. No comments. A handful of views, maybe. That kind of silence is different. And for a while, I...
